About DAVE BORLAND

Dave Borland, a native of Pittsburgh, graduated from West Virginia University as an English Major. During his working career, he was in sales and then in health care administration, working for Dr. Thomas E. Starzl, the great pioneering transplant surgeon, as his financial administrator at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. During Dave’s working career, he continued his writing passion with short stories and poetry. When he retired, Dave began his writing career. He published his first novel in 2007, “2050” and since then has written and published, 10 novels, 3 short story collections, 5 poetry books and 5 plays. His latest novels are "Each Day Is A Life" and "Sam's Road."  Dave, in all his writings, whether a novel, poetry, or play, concentrates on difficult situations in life and how people respond to them. His versatility of written expression is utilized in all of his artistic works.
