About DAVE BORLAND

Dave Borland, a native of Pittsburgh, is a talented novelist who graduated from West Virginia University with a degree in English. Throughout his career, he worked in sales and later in health care administration, serving as the financial administrator for the renowned transplant surgeon, Dr. Thomas E. Starzl, at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Despite his professional commitments, Dave nurtured his passion for creative writing through short stories and poetry. Upon retirement, he fully embraced his writing career, publishing his first novel, '2050,' in 2007. Since then, this Pittsburgh writer has released ten novels, three short story collections, five poetry books, and five plays, with his latest works being 'Each Day Is A Life' and 'Sam's Road.' In all his artistic expressions—whether as a poet, novelist, or playwright—Dave focuses on the complexities of life and the varied responses of individuals to difficult situations. His remarkable versatility in written expression shines through in every piece he creates.
